FIS Bands Earn Top Honors at Concert & Sight-Reading Competition

The Freeport Intermediate Bands competed in the U.I.L. Concert and Sight-Reading competition, at Brazosport High School, on April 12-13, 2016. 
Both the Symphonic and Concert I bands received the sweepstakes award, distinction earned by receiving a superior rating for both  the concert and sight-reading components of the competition. The Concert Winds group earned an excellent rating. 

The Symphonic Band is under the 
direction of Linda Crummel. Emily Boedeker directs the Concert I Band and the Concert Winds band is under the direction of Randy Laran. 

Freeport Intermediate is proud of their outstanding band program 
and their musical legacy!
