Our Trip

By: Cayla Cleburn President of  Junior High Science Olympiad 8th Grade

When we started Science Olympiad most of had no idea of what to do. Our first competition was kind of a disaster, none of us really knew what to do or where to go. Our second competition went a little smoother, but wasn’t easy. Then finally came regionals. We were all very nervous and excited to go.Mainly nervous though.

When we got to Tarleton we were all amazed with how big it was and how amazing it looked. We were very excited! We finally made it to regionals after our 7 hour trip. All that day the entire team was working so hard to study and do their events.

Finally, all of our studying and preparation had paid off. We won first overall!

It was a very exciting moment for us, to win our medals and get a first place trophy! All the studying, building, preparing and drive there had paid off and we were now first place winners with 10 medals overall.
