FIS Orchestra Scores Big at Solo & Ensemble Contest

Four Freeport Intermediate School Orchestra members travelled to Dulles High School, Saturday, February 20, 2016, to participate in U.I.L. Solo and Ensemble Competition.

Three eighth graders, Marina De La Fuente, Asrhyella Seeler, and Wei Wang, performed as a trio, earning straight ones. In addition, Paige Mills became the first FIS Redskin to receive a score of one in solo performance as a 7th-grader.

A score of one is the highest level of accomplishment the students can achieve. The entire FIS family is proud to extend hearty congratulations to Mrs. Strange and all of the students who took part in this event.
