FFA Student, Autumn Robles Shares Her Love for Ag Sciences!
February is Career & Technical Education month. We love showing off our CTE students and all that they are accomplishing. Autumn Robles is a senior at Brazosport HS and plans on becoming an Ag Science teacher because she likes working with animals and has greatly enjoyed her FFA experience. Autumn states "I want to be able to give students the same opportunities and experiences I have gained through our FFA Chapter." She has taken Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, Horticulture, Livestock Production and is currently taking Ag Mechanics and Metal Technology. She has been a member of FFA all 4 years of high school and has been an officer 3 of those years, serving as Student Advisor, Vice President and President.
Autumn describes many skills that she has learned in her CTE classes including technical skills for her future career as well as soft skills such as leadership and networking. She believes CTE classes are more hands-on and focus on "exactly what you want to be learning about" and "they are fun and very informative." We believe Autumn describes this very well! Thanks Autumn for being a great CTE, Ag and Brazosport representative!
