Five Brazosport ISD Digital Learning staff members are now Certified Google Trainers. This means that our staff and students receive the highest levels of support available, making the most out of our district's Google Apps For Education implementation.
To achieve this level of distinction, candidates must (through an extensive application process) have previously achieved ‘Qualified Individual’ status. They must have a strong history of Google Apps training, engaging public speaking skills, an ability to distill technical content into creative, informative learning materials, and a high degree of enthusiasm and passion for the role of technology in education.
As Google Apps Certified Trainers, these staff members will receive early access to technical training and support materials, a Google ‘badge’ for online marketing, additional visibility in the Apps Marketplace as a Solutions Provider and shared training resources from the community of fellow Certified Trainers.
BISD’s distinguished Google Apps Certified Trainers are:
Nancy Gardner, Director of Media and Digital Learning
Lindsey Blackstock, 7-12 Digital Learning Coordinator
Kristen Leonard, K-6 Digital Learning Coordinator
Cynthia Johansen, Digital Learning Coach
Misty Wilson, Digital Learning Coach
