Operational Efficiencies Brightens the Holidays for All BISD Employees
In recognition of the number of measures to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs throughout the district, a one-time operational efficiency payment of $500 per each full time employee and $250 for part time employees was included on Brazosport ISD employees’ December paycheck.
“We are always looking for ways to value and show appreciation for our employees,” stated Superintendent Mr. Danny Massey. “Our employees support energy conservation and we are able to pass on some of the benefits of this effort back to all employees: bus drivers, teachers, custodial staff... everyone participates and is rewarded.”
“Our drivers work hard and this is a great show of appreciation for their efforts to be efficient. This means so much, especially at this time of year,” said Director of Transportation John Craig.
“It is much appreciated. It came at a great time,” says Bus Driver Debra Baskin.
“It is going to come in handy for things that needed to be done around the house. Thank you very much!”
Transportation Dispatcher Karen Hadley shares “it is nice to know the Administration and the Board thinks about us and shows it in this way during this time of year, as it is much appreciated and gratifying. My main feeling was woo-hoo!”
“I am very happy and proud to work for BISD! Thank you for all the help,” says Leticia Lozano from BISD Child Nutrition.
