The vision, mission and beliefs of Brazosport Independent School District officially changed after BISD School Board voted unanimously to adopt the new statements.
Vision, mission and belief statements are designed as the guiding philosophy, a unity of purpose for the district. The process began this past summer with the Board creating the district’s annual goals in July and holding workshops for an in depth review of the previous visions, mission and belief statements. The Board of Trustees along with Superintendent Danny Massey revised the district’s vision, mission and belief statements with the purpose of having alignment with the district’s priorities.
“Our community should be very proud of the work of the Board of Trustees in developing and adopting the goals, mission, vision and belief statements to guide the work in our district. We have an outstanding board that are dedicated and committed to Brazosport ISD being a model for student success,” said Superintendent Danny Massey.
“Everything we do should be aligned with our goals and our core beliefs,” said Board President Ron Damian.
