BISD Continues Partnership with FOTPS with Ambassador Academy & Graduate Program 2.0
BISD is excited to continue our work with Friends of Texas Public Schools (FOTPS) for a 2nd year! Last week was the first meeting of the newest BISD Ambassador team. Leslie Milder and Jane Braddock, authors of the book Hello My Name is Public School and I have an Image Problem, led the group of 58 staff members representing every campus and department in our district. The group learned more of the great things happening in public schools across the state, shared some of the great things happening within their own campus/department and our district, and left with homework that they will need your help with! The next session is set for November 3rd.
Last year’s BISD Ambassadors will continue the momentum with an Ambassador Graduate Program 2.0, also lead by FOTPS. They will have their first meeting mid-October.
Thanks goes to all of our Ambassadors for giving their time and creativity in an effort to make BISD an even greater place to work, play and live!
