This is the image for the news article titled BISD’s Citizens Bond Oversight CommitteeBeginning with the passage of the 2012 Bond, Brazosport ISD formed a committee of community members to oversee the deployment of district bond projects. This group of volunteer stakeholders are tasked with reviewing capital projects, bond expenditures, project schedules and the timelines of all district bond projects. Their primary focus is to ensure each bond project is completed and they accomplish this through a quarterly review of project activity. The Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) is an additional layer of oversight and transparency along with the Board of Trustees. “It is extremely important to us that the community has the utmost confidence in our implementation of the bond projects,” said Superintendent Danny Massey.” We appreciate the work of the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.”

The Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) is made up of 20 members. We want to thank each of these members for volunteering their time and efforts for our students, staff and community.
