Brown Convention Center in Houston.

Amber Crawford was recognized as a Teacher of the Year for her dedication to the educational process and for providing the students at Clute Intermediate with exceptional learning experiences.

Mrs. Crawford was nominated by her campus Principal Chris Loftin and was recognized along with 140 other educators from the Houston area.

Noah Grace of CIS complemented Mrs. Crawford when he stated, “Mrs. Crawford is a great teacher because she cares for all of her students she treats us as her own kids.” Ta’Ja Dabney in writing about Amber said, “Mrs. Crawford you deserve this award because you inspire me to be myself. You make me want to work harder in school and believe I can go to college and become a teacher.”

Mr. Loftin in speaking for the CIS family spoke of Mrs. Crawford’s complete dedication, hard work and sincerity that shines in student successes. Your CIS family is proud of you and so is your BISD family!
