9 BISD Students Move on to State-Level in Science Competition

This is the image for the news article titled 9 BISD Students Move on to State-Level in Science CompetitionIn late March, over 40 students in grades fifth through eighth from across Brazoria County competed in the local You Be the Chemist Challenge, sponsored by Dow Texas Operations. A total of nine Brazosport ISD students have the opportunity to compete at the state-level. The state competition will be held at the Children’s Museum of Houston on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

The You Be the Chemist Challenge is a fun and interactive academic competition that engages students in fifth through eighth grades in learning about important chemistry concepts, scientific discoveries, and laboratory safety.
