Each year, districts and campuses throughout the state of Texas are required to rate their performance in eight community and student engagement areas, as well as their compliance with statutory reporting and policy requirements. This year, Brazosport ISD was rated as Recognized and met statutory reporting and policy requirements.

Community and Student Engagement Results
The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the U.S. Brazosport ISD graduates who took the ACT last year performed above the state average in all areas. 2016 graduates outperformed their 2015 predecessors in every in English, Reading, Science and Composite.

The Texas Education Agency released a video, which provides a quick overview of the State of Texas Accountability System. This video gives a summary level review of what goes into the evaluation system, and how campuses, districts, and charters are evaluated yearly.
