Mr. James "Jim" Martin

1975 graduate from Brazoswood High School

After graduation from Brazoswood High School, Mr. Martin attended Texas A&M, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology in 1975.

Mr. Martin, a lifelong resident of Brazoria County, has worked for Pumpworks for over 30 years holds the position of Vice President. Jim Martin has contributed countless hours to our community through his volunteer efforts with the Brazosport Rotary Club, the Lake Jackson Little League, Board member of the Historical Association and serving as a City Council Member then Mayor of the City of Lake Jackson. Through Jim’s volunteer efforts with the Brazosport Rotary Club, he established Brazoswood High School’s Interact Club in 1996, and eleven years later, he continues to serve as its sponsor. 

He is presently serving as President of the Board of Directors for the Brazosport Regional Health System.
