Brazosport ISD will have three evenings filled with fun, fellowship, games, and storytelling to help promote reading!
Beginning Monday, October 24, BISD will host three free evening events at three different locations. In an effort to give our families more options they can choose to attend in Lake Jackson, Clute, or Freeport.
Families will be able to make and take literacy crafts/activities, participate in storytime, and tour our Amazing Book Bus! In BISD we believe in building a strong foundation in literacy and we know that it is important for families and schools to work together in creating a literacy community.
“We appreciate our community partnering with us to express the importance of literacy,” said BISD Superintendent Danny Massey. “Reading strengthens and reinforces literacy skills for our students as well as for those in our community who will join us in these fun family events.”

Las noches de literatura de BISD llegarán a la ciudad cercana a usted
Brazosport ISD tendrá tres noches llenas de diversión, compañerismo, juegos y narración de cuentos para ayudar a promover la lectura.
A partir del lunes 24 de octubre, BISD organizará tres eventos vespertinos gratuitos en tres lugares diferentes. En un esfuerzo por brindar a nuestras familias más opciones, pueden elegir asistir a Lake Jackson, Clute o Freeport.
¡Las familias podrán hacer y llevar a cabo manualidades/actividades de leer y escribir, participar en la hora del cuento y recorrer nuestro ¡Maravilloso Autobús del Libro.! En BISD creemos en construir una base sólida en leer y escribir y sabemos que es importante que las familias y las escuelas trabajen juntas para crear una comunidad que sepa leer y escribir.
“Apreciamos que nuestra comunidad se asocie con nosotros para expresar la importancia de saber leer y escribir”, dijo el superintendente de BISD, Danny Massey. “La lectura fortalece y refuerza las habilidades de saber leer y escribir de nuestros estudiantes, así como de aquellos en nuestra comunidad que se unirán a nosotros en estos divertidos eventos familiares”.
