Every third week in April, BISD joins the nation in specifically recognizing our dedicated volunteers as a part of National Volunteer Appreciation Week. We love taking time to express our gratitude for the incredible support we receive from our parents and community volunteers. We could not provide the high-quality education that our students deserve without their selfless contributions of time, skills, and resources.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring a rich diversity of perspectives and talents to our schools. They share their hands and their hearts with us, and we are honored to work alongside them in service to our students. Whether they are helping in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, mentoring, tutoring, fundraising, or serving on advisory committees, their impact is immeasurable.
We encourage everyone to take a moment during National Volunteer Appreciation Week to recognize and thank the special volunteers on your campus who make a difference every day. Let them know how much we value their dedication and generosity.
