Lizbeth Garza-Rios

Introducing Lizbeth Garza-Rios, a dedicated and aspiring student in the health science pathway who will soon graduate from Brazoswood High School.

From a young age, Lizbeth's passion for the health sciences has guided her educational journey. In high school, she immersed herself in health classes, paving the way for her future. As a freshman and sophomore, Lizbeth embarked on the health pathway, and her dedication led her to be accepted into the clinicals program during her junior year.

During her senior year, Lizbeth achieved another milestone by being accepted into the practicum in medical assistant program. In this program, she gained valuable hands-on skills and successfully completed two certification tests, becoming a certified medical assistant and a certified phlebotomy technician.

With her passion for nursing, Lizbeth's next step is enrolling in Brazosport College's Associate of Nursing program. Her long-term goal is to transfer to the esteemed Cizik School of Nursing, where she plans to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lizbeth's dream job is to become a pediatric registered nurse, providing compassionate care to young patients at Texas Children's Hospital.

Lizbeth's commitment to academic excellence extends beyond her chosen pathway. She has been an active member of prestigious organizations such as the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Students.

In addition to her academic achievements, Lizbeth has demonstrated her dedication to personal growth by completing 27 dual credit hours, setting a strong foundation for her future educational endeavors.
