Mallory Varga

Mallory Varga, a senior at Brazoswood High School, will graduate Magna Cum Laude. She plans to attend Brazosport College for a semester before transferring to Tarleton State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science with a minor in Business Studies. Afterward, she aims to apply to various veterinary medical schools to achieve her goal of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During her senior year, Mallory participated in the agriculture vet practicum at the Freeport Veterinary Medical Center, where she gained valuable experience and furthered her interest in the field. Throughout high school, she was active in FFA, competing in vet and poultry competitions and showing rabbits at the Brazoria County Fair and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

At Brazoswood High School, Mallory excelled both academically and athletically. She is a four-year varsity soccer player, a two-time state qualifier in water polo, and served as Co-Captain of the varsity soccer team. Beyond sports, she demonstrated her Buc pride and dedication by participating in various organizations. She served as Student Body Vice President and was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Student Athletic Leadership Council, FFA, Environmental Club, FCA, Barking Bucs, and represented Brazoswood as the Brazoria County Fair Queen representative.

Mallory has shown a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to her community by volunteering at numerous events. Some of her favorite activities include volunteering at the Port of Freeport Take-A-Child Fishing Tournaments, A Night in the Spotlight Special Needs Prom, Brazoria County Fair special events, SPCA, and assisting at different schools in BISD. Over the past four years, she has volunteered hundreds of hours.

Her role as Student Body Vice President highlights Mallory’s leadership skills, hard work, and dedication to Brazoswood High School. Her leadership, service, and academic excellence have led to remarkable accomplishments both at school and within her local community.
