Ready for the Summer Reading Challenge?
From Elementary to High School, There's a Book and Prize Waiting for You!
Elementary Summer Reading Challenge: “Bee a Summer Reader!”
Starting June 1, 2024 through August 13, 2024 so get started reading TODAY!
- Students track reading with bookmarks & each time they log 5 books they can pick up a prize from the Book Bus!
- Plus, students who complete 3 fun reading activities will be entered into a drawing for a super fun summer reading prize basket!

Secondary Summer Reading Challenge: “Beach Blanket Book Blast-Surf Through Your Summer Reading!”
Starting May 1, 2024 through July 31, 2024 so get started TODAY!
- Encourage all students at Rasco, CIS, FIS, LJI, and at our high schools to log their reading minutes in Beanstack this summer.
- Students will log 720 minutes reading & complete 6 activity badges.
- Some examples are to visit a library, read to a friend or pet, or read outside.
- Every student that completes the challenge will have the chance to put tickets in a drawing for one of several cool prizes!
