During the Board Meeting held Monday, the Brazosport Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a one-time pay increase for all eligible employees. The increase is calculated at 3% of midpoint for all full-time employees who have been employed with the district for a minimum of 90 days. The salary increase will be distributed as a one-time, lump sum payment to be paid on the employee’s first paycheck of the 2024-2025 assignment year.
This payment is categorized as Teacher Retirement System (TRS) eligible compensation and will be adjusted proportionally if an employee departs before completing their 2024-2025 assignment. In addition to the lump sum pay increase, teachers will benefit from a step increase upon completing the 2023-2024 contract year, as detailed in the Teacher Pay Matrix.
By implementing these pay increases, Brazosport ISD aims to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of its educators, support staff, and administrators who play a pivotal role in the success of our students.
