We are excited to announce that Aaron Mason has been selected as the next Head Baseball Coach at Brazosport High School. Coach Mason has served the last 9 years as Assistant Baseball Coach at Brazoswood High School. Prior to that he was the Assistant Baseball Coach at Brazosport High School for 6 years.
Coach Mason is a 2003 graduate of Brazoswood where he excelled in baseball. After earning a Bachelor's Degree from UT-San Antonio, he returned to Brazosport ISD as a teacher and coach at Brazosport High School and Freeport Intermediate School.
“Having spent six years coaching and teaching at Brazosport High School, Aaron understands the pride of what it means to be an Exporter. He models the toughness, grit, and perseverance that it takes to be successful. He has the ability to connect with players and push them to greater heights. His beliefs of using baseball as a tool to support students to not only be better athletes, but also better people perfectly aligns with the mission of Brazosport ISD athletics,” said BISD Superintendent Danny Massey.
