We are excited to announce that Chris Nabors has been selected as the next Head Baseball Coach at Brazoswood High School. Coach Nabors has served the last four years as Head Baseball Coach at Brazosport High School, where they earned a trip to the state playoffs each of the four years.
Coach Nabors is a 2001 graduate of Brazoswood where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. After graduating from Brazoswood, Chris played college baseball at Laredo Junior College and Texas A&M-Kingsville. After earning his degree, he returned to Brazosport ISD as a teacher and coach at Lake Jackson Intermediate School, and then to Brazoswood High School before taking reins as Head Baseball Coach at Brazosport High School.
“Chris understands the deep pride and high expectations of Brazoswood baseball. He has the ability to build great relationships with players, while also holding them accountable to meeting a high standard. We believe that Chris has the passion, experience, and knowledge to bring Buccaneer Baseball back to one of the premiere programs in the state of Texas,” BISD Superintendent Danny Massey said.
